Special children are those who need special training, Swabodhini is a Special Education Center run by the "Swabodhini Charitable Trust". A school that arose from humble beginnings in 1989 soared like a phoenix over the past 12 years to strength of 50 children. The Schools program caters to a wide variety of students with special needs, including those with Autism.

Ms. Radha Ganesan - The Founder Director and Managing trustee of Swabodhini, is a Post Graduate from the Madras University.She is certified by the Rehabilitation Counsel of India,for her work in the field of Special Education. She has 12 years of experience with special children, and has been the founding light with the strength of 2 children, from inception she has dedicated her life to these children.

Ms. Ramamani Ravi - The Parent trustee of the school since the inception of the trust. She is a chartered accountant with legal qualification. She has been an inspiration to the parents and has guided them with personal interest.
