Ms. Anuradha Mahesh Director
Ms Anuradha Mahesh’s association with Swabodhini dates back to 2006. She has more than 15 years of experience in finance. In addition to being a Trustee she is also the Director of the school. She manages the entire operations of the school, which includes education, therapy services, finance & administration, planning and budgeting, audits and legal compliances.
With her experience in multinational consulting firms prior to joining Swabodhini, she has introduced many of the best practices and also extensively worked for creating visibility & expand donor base.
Ms. Amirthavalli Rangarajan Head of Finance
Ms Amirthavalli Rangarajan, an M. Com and ICWA Inter has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. As Head of Administration and Finance, she takes care of the entire Finance, Accounting & Administration services of Swabodhini. She also manages the inventory, sales & collection of the retail unit “Swayam Shop” in addition to taking care of complete accounting, audit, planning & budgeting for events, management of infrastructure and facilities. She joined Swabodhini in August 2013.
Prior to joining Swabodhini she served as Manager Accounts in 37th Crescent Hotel in Bangalore.
Ms Aruna Narayanan Head of Marketing and Expansions
Ms. Aruna VN takes care of the entire public relation affairs of Swabodhini. An engineer and a post graduate in business administration, she coordinates for all outreach programs, fund raising, and corporate communications, creates visibility for the school, manages donor communications, newsletters and social media. She is in charge of Swabodhini’s new center at Guru Nanak College, Velachery. She joined Swabodhini in Jan 2017, prior to which she worked in commercial banking division of Kotak Mahindra Bank and Citibank.
Aruna is a certified yoga instructor and is passionate about practicing and teaching yoga. She also has a flair for writing and is an avid blogger.

Swabodhini constantly strives to give its best of services to its students. Experts have been appointed to guide the core team for therapy & special education services.
Mirra Charitable Trust
The main objective of Mirra is potential realization, empowerment and inclusion of children with autism, learning disability, and other special needs into mainstream schools and community at large. Having seen what effective inclusion could do to children with needs, the urge to reach out to a larger section of children and schools resulted in MIRRA. Ms. Lakshmi Satish is the co-founder of Mirra Charitable Trust. A student of English literature, Lakshmi Satish was always inclined towards teaching children, this prompted her to become a trained teacher. Soon this paved the way for her to become a special educator and work in an inclusive school in Chennai. Ms. Lakshmi and her team from Mirra is providing expert guidance for special education and related teaching methodology to Swabodhini.
As part of Swabodhini's onging efforts to better serve its students and their families, as well as to help the School plan for the next decade, the board appointed two professionals as advisors: Mr. V. Srinivasan and Dr. Chandru Rajam.
Mr. V. Srinivasan Adviser
Mr. V. Srinivasan was, for almost 30 years, a senior executive with Carl Zeiss, a German multinational company. He held various leadership positions across the Company's Asian region and was responsible, on two occasions, to lead its subsidiary in India.

Dr. Chandru Rajam Adviser
Dr. Chandru Rajam was a former professor of business and taught at a number of universities in the US and Singapore. He worked in or for global media companies, such as BusinessWeek and The Economist, and has consulted for a number of global and regional companies.

Messers Srinivasan and Rajam have been working with the Management Team at Swabodhini on a formal strategic planning process.
